Copozz G1 Snow Goggle Review

For my snow sports I generally wear goggles that cost $150-250. I've often wondered do I need to pay this much to get these capabilities and quality or am I just paying for the brand name.

Smith/Oakley/Bolle all have Goggles in this price range but I set out to find out if the smaller less known brands can offer the same quality! Take these Copozz Goggles, they look great and have all the capabilities you would expect from the larger brands.

But my fear was, would they work as advertised, or would the quality let them down. Read on to find out!

They come straight to your door neatly packaged, with a soft case, which will keep them clean but not really protect them. There was good packaging and wrapping, and all told they took 2 days to arrive. They came direct from Amazon hence the best deal I could find.

In terms of the features and capabilities:

  • 4 Lens design to create the optimum performance.  Outer and inner lens provide a scratch proof surface and anti fog coating technology.  The Inner two lenses offer 100% UV protection and amazing clarity.
  • Fog Free Goggles.  The Smart + Ventilation design allows air to flow a single direction, keeping the glass crystal clear in even the worst weather.
  • Wear Over Glasses.  The OTG (over glasses) design lets you wear glasses under the goggles.  (up to 5.6 in. length/ 1.65 in. height)
  •  Soft and Comfy.  Made with triple layered foam, Copozz goggles mold to your face and are super comfortable to wear.
  • Grip Strap.  Easy-adjust buckles and a long strap with textured fabric keeps the goggle snugly in place for even the most noteworthy crashes.

In my tests I found, the 4 lens design mean't there was no fogging and great vision clarity, the lens they came with was great for sun and light cloud, I'd probably want to get another lens for low light, but as I was testing in spring worked perfectly for me.

The TPU frame mean't even with moderate impacts the frame flexed and took the abuse.  I don't really fall much, but you never know and it's good they are resilient.

I really like the oversized look, I've only worn them a couple of times but they are performing easily as well as my more expensive Oakley goggles, and they look really good! :-)

You can also inexpensively change the lenses ($20), for different conditions or just if they get worn and you fancy a change! As I mentioned above I would probably get the low light lens aswell so I have all conditions covered.

What's more at less than $40 for a limited time they are an absolute steal! I could buy 4 pairs of these for the price of my other brand name goggles! So although I bought these to compare to more expensive ones, and I thought either way they would make a good spare pair, I actually think I will use them just as much. So overall I think these are a great deal and I am happy to recommend them!
